Fender Repair Process

We begin by inspecting the exterior damage of your fender, then remove any necessary trim and hardware to make an accurate assessment. This allows us to not only examine the impact closer, but to create the very best plan for how to conduct the fender repair properly.
Our team skillfully repairs the fender, by carefully working the material to restore the fender’s shape and fit. Once all of the damaged areas are repaired, Mundy’s refinish technicians make sure they are working on a clean surface, removing all dirt, grease, and other materials that get in the way of an immaculate finish. Technicians then prepare the vehicle by priming, curing and sanding the area in preparation for painting. To ensure a factory finish, our technicians mix the colored basecoat to match the vehicle’s color and spray. Following the base coat application, we apply the clear topcoat which restores the vehicle’s natural gloss finish to its factory appearance.
